George J. Lucio has more than 25 years experience in the field of Behavioural Science and 23 years experience with clinical application of low power laser. He is the founder of the Matrix Institute of Laser Therapy and Research Centre, which is leading the way to the advancement of Body/Mind Therapies using laser, light and energy based treatment for a wide range of illnesses and substance addictions. He is also co-founder of North America’s most successful clinic in the area of laser and light therapies, combined with behavioural Mind/Body therapies.

Mr. Lucio has lectured and trained extensively throughout the world in the Principles of Human Communications and the use of laser and light therapies. He is a Certified Laser Therapist and a Clinical Counsellor with a broad understanding of physical and psychological modalities.

Ongoing research continues to be a key component of Mr. Lucio’s practice. He has devoted 23 years in developing appropriate and effective protocols for the use of low-level lasers in healthcare. In fact, there are thousands of practitioners throughout the world that are using the protocols developed by Mr. Lucio.

Mr. Lucio currently leads a select team of Laser Therapists and Researchers in training medical and healthcare professionals in the use of low level laser therapy. He is also heavily involved with U.S. and Canadian medical researchers in the development of Laser and Light Therapies that promise to bring us far into the future.

Over the years, I have worked with other health care professionals on a brain and spinal surgical unit, a post-operative recovery unit, two psychiatric units and at drug and alcohol recovery center.
