I had the opportunity to have some amazing training at your clinics last week end. Even though I was just there to help a friend of mine to get the training, as we kept on moving forward I kept falling in love with what you do and can do for your clients as compared to what I can’t do for my patients. Even though I am interested in human psychology, I was completely devoid and deficient in your professional skills. It was a very fascinating eye opener experience to a point that I want to come back soon and learn one or two more programs from you. I had an opportunity to hear and feel the CD's that you provide to your clients after each treatment. They are fantastic work in combining Science, Medicine, Psychology and Art in the healing process of the human mind and body.

It is a pleasure to provide a letter of reference for George Lucio and the Matrix Training Institute.
I have been a physical therapist for the past 12 years and heard about the Matrix Institute through my family. My uncle & 2 cousins traveled from Kentucky to Canada in order to receive the treatment. My uncle had smoked for 46 years & quit with one treatment with George. My cousins also quit. I was amazed & intrigued by the program as I am a strong advocate for conservative treatment interventions.
I had an advantage because I knew first hand that this clinic and their treatment protocols are effective. In answer to your questions......
How thorough was the instruction over the 3 days training period?
I was extremely pleased with the instructional method & content. The manuals are clear & concise, and extremely thorough. You can tell that the instructional format of this program has been researched thoroughly and documented as such, to provide their clients with all the information that they will need in order to open a successful practice. Everything from the basics of acupuncture points, to how much to charge for each treatment, to where you can purchase CD's & acupuncture charts. Any questions you have in regards to the treatment method & how to effectively run your business is covered.
How has your equipment functioned since you acquired same?
We use the Omega XP. I especially like this laser system because it has an acupuncture point finder which assures that you achieve maximum stimulation. The Matrix institute recommends purchasing laser probes with specific wattage (this will be covered with you by George.) This allows time for the therapist to counsel & educate the client DURING the treatment session, so they will walk away fully informed about the physical components of nicotine addiction, the psychological & emotional attachment, as well as the detoxification programming. The treatment would not be complete if all these issues are not addressed. This is what sets the Matrix Institute apart from the rest & is far superior to any other smoking cessation program using laser therapy due to this. The Matrix Institute uses a holistic approach and our clients leave after their treatment with a full understanding of the physiology behind nicotine addiction and the tools they will need to overcome this addiction.
Our current efficacy rate using this therapy in your practice?
I have only been in practice for 3 weeks now. In the U.S., we are in clinical trial programming and we are to follow up with our clients in one month & 3 months. So...I haven't established efficacy rates as of yet. But I will tell you that I have only had 3 clients (out of 40)require a booster. Client #1: Did not want to quit, she was doing it for her husband only. Client #2: Smoked 4 packs/day. Stated she even had to get up at night to smoke because of her profound addiction. She returned for the booster in one week. She HAD NOT smoked and was just getting the booster to assure her success and was excited to tell her cardiologist that she had finally quit. Client #3: One of this client's triggers for smoking was alcohol. He was doing great for 3 days after the treatment, no cravings or withdrawals. He decided to have a beer....this triggered a whole series of neuro-chemical events in his brain that resulted in his picking up a cigarette. So in a nutshell, we are finding that one treatment has been highly successful, as I knew it would with personal experience with my family members.
What is the return on investment?
It has only been 3 weeks and I have had 50% return on my investment in the training. I most definitely recommend it.
What area {weight loss; stop smoking; cosmetic; etc} are you finding the most demand and results?
Being in the states, I am limited to certain clinical applications, so there's some of the programming that I am not allowed to administer. Living in Kentucky & having a clinic in Tennessee....I live and work in tobacco country. So by far, smoking has been the big draw. However, stress & weight programs have been very popular, as many people are very concerned in regards to weight gain or stress associated with the process of quitting smoking.
I have attached a couple of my commercials which are testimonials to Matrix's program and how effective it truly is. These are not actors....it's my uncle & cousin that I mentioned previously who finally quit with the Alpha Laser Therapy Clinic in Windsor. I cannot say enough about George and his whole team of therapists. George & his therapists are truly passionate about what they do and that will be passed on to future trainees. Alpha Laser Therapy Australia commenced operation in Cairns, North Queensland in July 2003. Our training with Matrix Therapeutic Systems in Windsor, Ontario in early 2003 covered many aspects of laser application for various programmes as well as addressing the psychological aspects of addictions.
Having worked in the field for over 6 months and having treated several hundred clients, it has become evident that the therapies Matrix Systems offer are extremely well rounded. Matrix programmes have been carefully constructed to cover every aspect of client concern, strength and weakness. It's now four years since I first inquired about the Matrix Training Programs. There is no question that the Smoking Cessation and Weight Loss Protocols are exceptionally effective for those that come with a strong desire to change and in some cases even when the client is unsure.
